Palmers Lodge

Well, after staying at Palmer’s Lodge for past two weeks, it was sort of sad to leave the old place. Considered one of the best hostel’s in London, it’s no wonder why so many people come for a few days but end up staying for months.

“Palmers Lodge is a unique new central London hostel. Located near Swiss Cottage tube station this Victorian grade II listed building, former home of Samuel Palmer of the Huntley and Palmers Biscuit Empire, has received a substantial refurbishment to restore it to original condition and to offer the international traveler all the facilities expected at the very best hostels in London.” – Palmers

Besides a few minor sleeping incidents, we had a great stay overall. The hostel has a very cozy Victorian feel and the staff were incredibly friendly. It offered great value with complementary breakfast, free public computers & WiFi, TV lounge, and The Chapel bar downstairs serving the cheapest pint in London.
