Tate Modern Museum

Over the weekend we did a quick walk through of the Tate, London’s finest modern and contemporary art museum.

The first level of the Tate is known as Turbine Hall, and each year the massive room is home to one artists work. Currently Doris Salcedo’s Shibboleth is on exhibit. Although it looks like the effects of an earthquake, the gigantic crack throughout the floor represents the faults in today’s society.

A person could spent days walking through the five levels of the Tate, luckily it’s less than half mile from our flat, so we’ll have lots of time to check out the exhibits.
