Speed The Plow at the Old Vic with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldblum

Last night, we went to see the Speed The Plow at the Old Vic, a David Mamet play with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldblum.

Hollywood producers Bobby Gould (Jeff Goldblum) and Charlie Fox (Kevin Spacey) engage in a verbal boxing match centered around the eternal debate of art versus money”

Tickets have been sold out for months now, but each day they reserve ten standing tickets for those willing to wait in line. So, yesterday morning I waited for two hours to get tickets, but the wait was well worth it. The dialog between Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldblum was fantastic, quite amazing to see these guys doing a live stage play together.

I found it pretty interesting that since 2003, Kevin Spacey has been the artistic director at the Old Vic theatre, which just happens to be a few blocks from our flat.
