Bush at Windsor Castle
Well, we decided to make the most of the sunny day in England, taking a day trip to see the spectacular Windsor Castle. Unfortunately we forgot to check the news before we left, and sadly the castle was closed due to a visit from George Bush.
We thought it was a bit unusual when we first arrived in Windsor, to be greeted by protesters chanting “George Bush, terrorist”. But it made more sense after we learned of the president’s visit to Windsor to see the Queen.
Although we never got to tour Windsor Castle, it was still nice to tour Windsor and Eton. Hopefully next we visit Windsor Castle, George Bush won’t also be visiting.
