Saskatchewan

I spent the past weekend at my parents farm in southern Saskatchewan. Summer’s are particularly busy on the farm so it was nice to be home to help out. It was a beautiful weekend and luckily I brought along my camera to capture a few photos. While walking the fence line in our pasture just south of Glentworth, I realized something:

Happiness is a green pasture, a blue sky and a line of fence that needs fixing.

With the clear blue sky above, vast green pasture all around and the flowering alphapha fields swaying in the wind, it made me appreciate just how beautiful Saskatchewan really is.

However Saskatchewan’s beauty is not just a destination, but rather the landscape and sky all around with an incredible color palette that changes with every season. Here are a few photos that capture some of that hidden beauty.
